Last night our Elementary Design Advisory Group met to review the new updated conceptual design plans for our Phase 2 Elementary schools. Our team will be visiting these schools (John McLoughlin, Holcomb, and Candy Lane) on November 24 and 25 during conferences to hear feedback and input on these new conceptual designs from parents and our community. While our bond team is diligently working on cost estimates and pricing for our Phase 2 projects, the construction crews remain hard at work on our Phase 1 fields and grounds projects at OCHS. This week they worked on the base of the turf fields that helps with drainage. These projects are anticipated to be completed by the spring 2026 season.

2025 Bond Update!
Our fields and grounds projects are continuing to proceed as planned. Trucks are running daily moving loads of dirt from the fields in preparation for our new turf surfaces.
We're continuing to work with the city of Oregon City to obtain permits through their process for all of our 2025 bond projects.
Finally, we are meeting with our CM/GC partners to review the initial cost estimates they have produced.
We're kicking off more than the school year this week! Crews are out at OCHS preparing our fields for their new turf upgrades.

The contracts for all 3 CM/GC firms were approved by the board on July 31st. Kick-off meetings are scheduled with each firm starting the week of August 4.
