About the 2018 Bond

This was the second phase in our district’s long range capital projects plan. The 2018 bond completely rebuilt Gardiner Middle School, renovated the entire interior of Tumwata Middle School, expanded our CTE learning spaces, and added security features to all of our buildings.

Each building in our district benefitted from this bond. We wrapped up the final projects from the 2018 bond in 2023 with the installation of the new security vestibule at CAIS and the new security Aiphone at our district office’s front door.

• Interior Locking Classroom Doors District-Wide and Two-Way Radio Systems

• CAIS Maker Space

• Jackson Campus  - Roof and Boilers

Reduced Overcrowding

• Replace Gardiner Middle School

• Renovate Ogden Middle School

• Eliminate portables at Gardiner Middle School

Upgraded and Updated Schools

• Update HVAC, plumbing, roofs, lighting and electrical systems

• Expand career and tech learning option

• Expand classroom spaces

  • Oregon City High School

    Oregon City High School Built in 2003 About the Project Project Updates About the Project OCHS – Safety & Security Upgrades (Summer 2020 work – now complete) Project Summary: New Safety Bollards installed at the main High School entry as a protective physical barrier. New School Guard glass installed at reception area windows. New reception entry doors with School Guard glass. Strobe Light Fixtures installed (interior and exterior). Interior courtyard site drainage repairs to address run-off water intrusion in the building.
